Do you have special pricing considerations if I want to hire an item for a long period of time?

Yes!  We understand that situations may arise in which you will require equipment for an extraordinary length of time (eg.  temporary military housing).  We have a pricing guide to suit any rental period including daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, and long term (≥12 weeks) rentals.  Please contact us if you have any question as to what pricing guide best fits your needs.

Will your delivery service meet us at the airport or ferry terminal to Magnetic Island?

Absolutely! Roving Rascals will do our best to work with your needs and requirements on both arrival and departure, assuming we are given appropriate notice (ideally 24 hours).  Whether you need a car seat sent directly to the airport or want a 3 wheel jogger to cruise around Maggie Island,  we will make every attempt to make it happen!  Remember, our delivery service is free to Townsville and most surrounding areas and also includes pick-up.  

What payment options are available? 

Payment options include cash, cheque, credit card, eftpos, and direct debit.  We require a $25 bond (per item), which is fully refundable upon the return of the hired item(s). 

When I hire a product from you, will I get the items shown in the pictures on your website?

We strive to accurately represent the products we carry with the images used on our website.  However, these images are for demonstration purposes only.  Our intention is to carry products of equal or higher quality for use by our customers.

Is your equipment cleaned between each rental?

Our equipment undergoes a thorough cleaning after each and every rental. In fact, many of our products must pass a comprehensive system of checks before we send them out to you. We have also considered the fact that some of our customers may have very delicate skin that may become irritated by harsh chemicals and use mild cleaning products whenever possible.
